Limited support on British Bank Holidays

Our support team will be offering limited support on British bank holidays in 2024. During these holidays, we will have a reduced number of support staff available to assist our customers with any queries or issues they may have. Please find below a list of all the British bank holidays in 2024:

  • New Year's Day: Monday, January 1st (substitute day)

  • Good Friday: Friday, March 29th

  • Easter Monday: Monday, April 1st

  • Early May Bank Holiday: Monday, May 6th

  • Spring Bank Holiday: Monday, May 27th

  • Summer Bank Holiday: Monday, August 26th

  • Christmas Day: Wednesday, December 25th

  • Boxing Day: Thursday, December 26th

Please note that our support team will be operating on reduced hours on these bank holidays. However, customers can still contact us through our regular channels of support, including email and phone. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

You might be asked to connect to Team Viewer to provide the Wavestore team with remote access.

Version 5 support

Wavestore V5 which was first released in June 2011, was last updated in January 2019. With the release of V6 in 2016, we reduced and eventually halted development on V5. For this reason, we advise that no new installations should be deployed using V5 after the end of December 2020, with only major bug fixes and critical security updates taking place for the remainder of the year.

We are committed to supporting our customers using V5, and will continue providing technical support and channel licences until the end of December 2023. To assist with transitions into V6, our WaveView client can seamlessly view cameras and play back recordings on both V5 and V6 servers.
