A new NVR series launched by Wavestore is utilizing powerful video processing technology from BCDVideo and comes complete with a five-year next business day on-site warranty.

Available from all Wavestore Authorised Distributors and Partners around the world, the WR-Series NVRs have been engineered for the efficient processing and storage of video and are an ideal complement for Wavestore’s feature-rich video management software (VMS).

The WR-Series, which is powered by Dell EMC, features the latest generation Intel Xeon processors, with RAID capabilities, redundant power supplies on most models and worldwide remote secured system management. These systems also include high-performance enterprise grade hard drive technology.

Robust and Reliable

“We are pleased to have been able to form a technology and supply partnership with BCDVideo who have an excellent reputation for coping with the exacting demands of Enterprise level video surveillance applications,” said Julian Inman, Head of Product Management for Wavestore.

“Our confidence in the reliability and effectiveness of the WR-Series is underpinned by a five-year warranty which includes next day on-site hardware support services as standard to carry out activities such as replacing faulty in-warranty hard drives and, for enhanced data security, this includes data media retention, leaving any replaced hard drive on the premises for proper customer disposal. An optional four-hour response service in metropolitan areas is also available for mission-critical sites.”

Enterprise Level

Wavestore WR-Series NVRs are available in rack-mountable 64, 128 and 254 channel versions and are designed to offer a robust and reliable recording, management and control solution for medium to large size video surveillance projects.

• WR14: Accommodating up to 4 x 3.5” hard drives in a 1U chassis to provide up to 40TB of storage and, thanks to industry-leading throughput, users can typically expect 31 days continuous real-time recording from 67 Full HD cameras.
  
• WR212: Supplied with RAID and dual redundant power-supply as a standard for increased fault-tolerance, WR212 NVRs can accommodate up to 12 x 3.5” hot swappable hard drives to provide up to 120TB of storage. Users can typically expect 31 days of continuous real-time recording from more than 150 Full HD cameras.
  
• WR216: Accommodating 4 internal and up to 12 x 3.5" hot swappable hard drives in a 2U chassis to provide a capacity of up to 160TB of storage, WR216 NVRs are also supplied with RAID and dual redundant power-supply as a standard for increased fault-tolerance. Users can typically expect 31 days of continuous real-time recording from more than 250 Full HD cameras.

The WR-Series compliments other NVRs and HVRs available from Wavestore, making it easy to pick the right solution for the project at hand. It also comes with the option to upgrade or expand channels at any time in the future, without having to reinstall the VMS software.
