A man caught a burglar breaking into his home in New York while he was at work after he was alerted by a camera with motion detection. The camera took pictures instantly and sent them to his email at work a few blocks away. He set up the camera at his Chelsea flat after he noticed signs posted in the building warning people about burglars in the area. Cetiner took advantage of the Black Friday deals and bought the equipment but never thought he would need it.

Cetiner said:"I was sitting here yesterday. I got this email. Sometimes it's a curtain moving or a shadow. So I'm like OK probably nothing. So I checked it and it was someone breaking in through the window and sitting on my couch! I'm like what do I do? I never thought that far. The door was locked from the inside and I don't have the key. He was still inside so I shouted you're being recorded, leave everything, leave the apartment."

Police caught the suspect as he tried to get away.
