WaveView: the Wavestore remote client software

WaveView is the latest version of the Wavestore remote client software that enables you to view live or archived images of your premises, from anywhere in the world.

WaveView enables you to view a selection of analogue, network (IP, megapixel, 360 degree) and HDcctv cameras on our live demo system, using M-JPEG, MxPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 simultaneously, in real-time or replay mode.

Versions of the software are designed to operate on Windows (7, Vista, XP), Linux (Red hat and Debian based systems) and Android operating systems. Please contact us if you would like more information on the Linux and Android versions.

Double click the camera you want to view from the camera tree on the left side of the screen. View the classical 1, 4, 9, 16, etc. layouts or try the new free mode, selecting the options in the drop down menu on the task bar or right clicking the mouse.

Check how easy it is to change the dimension of the camera image layouts in the free mode: you only need to select the camera (the outline will become blue) and resize its window as you do with all the applications on your PC.

Move around the selected camera or multiple cameras simultaneously (select them holding the CTRL tab). Double left click the camera image for a full screen effect and double click again for the original GUI view.

Use the mouse wheel to digitally zoom the live or the playback images and then, positioning the Lock Layout accordingly, hold the left side of your mouse to focus on the interested monitored areas. Use the Edit function to customise the still images you want to save or print.

Arrange your monitor as you prefer, overlapping blind gaps and resize the cameras' windows as you need. You can decide to reduce the cameras' windows where there is not much action going on and enlarge the ones you need to monitor more carefully. Save you layout and recall it as you need with the Custom Layouts option (right click the mouse). You can even clone a camera (re-selecting it on the camera tree) to view both live and play-backed images at the same time with no need to change screen. Now you don't have to leave the live image screen to review and playback the recorded footage, but you can check what has just happened without missing anything in the live scenario.

And even more. You can click the rewind-to-end tab in the Playback Controls and instantly view the first image recorded and archived (the timeframe is up the time we have been recorded and store the footage on our demo server HDs). Otherwise you can test our fast linear rewind function on the camera's windows itself up to 8196 time the normal view. Hold the rewind tab to see the rewind speed on the top right corner. You can also select multiple cameras and rewind all images simultaneously.

Don't miss to visit the Find Window to enjoy the crisp find and fast rewind function. Look at the System Log to understand how important information on your CCTV system is always available in real time within the Wavestore software. Image authentication and encryption functions are also available for high security applications.
