The modern MOBOTIX IP camera technology includes a wide range of functions to allow effective plant and building security surveillance.

MOBOTIX cameras support Motion JPEG and MxPEG formats. The MxPEG is MOBOTIX's proprietary protocol and requires 3 to 5 times less storage than Motion JPEG. Wavestore fully supports the MxPEG protocol and is a MOBOTIX development partner.

Wavestore solution also integrates MOBOTIX Q24 "fisheye" camera. The benefit of the de-warping capability provided in the Wavestore software is that images from other CCTV cameras can be recorded and displayed concurrently using the same recording solution. Whether your application includes analogue or network (IP or megapixel), HDcctv cameras in conjunction with the MOBOTIX 360 degree camera, the Wavestore recording system provides a single integrated recording solution where cameras are straightforward to set up and operate.

Unlike other systems, the decentralized MOBOTIX concept incorporates a high-speed computer and, if necessary, a digital memory (SD card) for long-term recording in every camera. The motion detection facilities that MOBOTIX cameras provide is supported by Wavestore such that the Wavestore will only record the video data when motion is detected. Integrating the MOBOTIX motion detection capability within Wavestore enables you exploit all the MOBOTIX cameras features supported by a reliable, flexible and multi-functional Wavestore video recorder.
