Supports new and emerging camera technologies

Wavestore is designed to be an open platform recording solution, able to integrate with a wide range of analogue and network (IP and megapixel cameras), and we have a continuous test and development programme in operation.

In addition to the ability to record from multiple different camera types Wavestore is also able to record from various cameras operating with differnt protocols simultaneously.

For example a system recording from analogue cameras (using either Wavelet or H.264 protocols) could also be recording from an Axis PTZ camera (using H264, MPEG-4 or M-JPEG) as well as record from a Mobotix camera (using the MxPEG protocol).

Furthermore we are working with camera manufacturers who are supporting the ONVIF and PSIA initiatives. This is clearly a very dynamic environment and new technologies are being introduced frequently.
