Flexible upgrade possibilities

The Wavestore products are designed to upgradable and the system expandable as the application evolves.

For instance a DVR with an analogue compression card can be extended to record from IP and megapixel cameras simply by upgrading the system license for the number of cameras required. (This does not requier any hardware modifications and can be done remotely and securely, over the internet).

In larger camera recording systems the Wavestore recorders can be set up into a server group enabling any authorised user to log in and view a selection of cameras according to their requirements.

Furthermore, once a system has been purchased, the server software upgrade is available free of charge. Unlike Windows based design a server group operating the Wavestore system requires only that the upgrade is aplied to the lead server, and the upgrade then distributed around the group.

This procedure is quick and usually does not require the equipment to be shut down.
