The Wavestore display is designed to be operated either on the Linux server or on a remote PC operating under Windows. Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.
In addition to the standard 1, 4, 9, 13 and 16 way display options, an authorised user may set up multiple multi-way screen options in order to switch dynamically between them.
The virtual PTZ function can be controlled using a simple wheeled mouse, where the user can zoom into a specific video clip (either live or archive) and tour around the image and analyse the items of interest.
The configuration for this user option is maintained within the server (and supported in a server group), enabling a user to log on at any remote terminal and be able to access their preferred camera images instantly.
Where a range of camera technologies are being recorded simultaneously (for instance analogue, IP and megapixel cameras) any combination of these can be displayed in both live and playback modes.
A new client is in development and wil be released in Q1/2010. This will enable the user to size and position each image according to their preferences.
